Introducing Baby Grimes!!!

Jon and I are so glad to announce that we are expecting our first born on July21, 2008. Yes, we are pregnant! We are especially thankful this holiday season for the wonderful gift that God has blessed us with! It all started about 7 weeks ago when Jon and I decided we wanted to add a baby into our family! With much thought, prayer, and one dr. visit we were blessed with a baby in perfect timing! We told our parents last Tuesday, Family on Thanksgiving, and our friends this week! We love each and everyone of you and will be sending out more news in the near future! Thanks to everyone for being so excited for us! (more pictures to come)

Turkey Trot

Yesterday was the Turkey Trot at DBU, my mom, Auntie, Heather, Sarah, Hailey, Kristy, Kim, and I all participated in the trot! It was alot of fun and I definitely found out how out of shape I am! I hope everybody has a very safe and Happy Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be thankful for!! Happy Turkey Day!!!

All Dressed Up!

DBU's Annual Russel Perry dinner was on Monday night at the Anatole in Dallas. It was fun to see friends we have not seen in a while and get all dressed up for an evening! Dr Cook was unable to be at the event, but he still wanted to be a part of it, so he called in and spoke. He is such a happy man and is in total confidence that God is going to heal his body very soon! Enjoy the pictures!

Weekend of FUN!!

This weekend was filled with so many sports events and fun! A good friend of Jon's gave us tickets to the Stars game on Friday night and it was such a blast! Thanks Bobby! We enjoyed a nice dinner at Saltgrass and then the game. Satuday was DBU Homecoming basketball and then out with friends. We were all sad to say goodbye to Andy and Corey before they moved to Houston Sunday. They got a job transfer and will be missed tremendously! Sunday us and the Erwins went to the Cowboys game and had a great time! I had never been to either one of these games and it was such a blast! Oh, and both teams won too!! Way to go!!

Happy 96th Birthday Uncle Horace

On Saturday my family drove down to Waco to have a birthday dinner and celebration with my Great Great Uncle Horace who turned 96 years old! One memory that he shared with me Saturday night was, that he remembered me as a young girl being his pen pal when he lived in Oklahoma. He said he still has all my letters in a box and read them not too long ago! What a good memory he still has!! He is such a sweet man and has already planned next years (big 97) birthday in San Antonio! Here are a few pictures from the party!
