Is it a boy or girl?

17 Weeks...
Tomorrow morning at 8:30, Jon will find out what our precious baby is! I am really excited for him to find out, he has been counting down the hours all week! We will see if I can hold off on knowing until Monday night when I get back from Cabo! My plane dosen't land until midnight, so it will be a VERY late night for me! I can't wait to make a post when I get back next week about the baby's room, I know Jon will make it super cute! If you think about me in the next few days or over the weekend say a prayer for safe traveling. I am getting a little nervous about leaving the country without Jon and a nearby Dr.
Happy Wedding to Michelle!

Just wanted to say...

that I had to change tops 4 times this morning to find something that actually fits ok! I am inbetween my regular tops and maternity tops! What are you supposed to wear during this inbetween time? Also, Jon will know in ONE week from today what we are having!!

Oh Baby!!

8 Weeks, just a little bloated!
10 Weeks
11 Weeks
13 Weeks
14 Weeks
15 Weeks

I have really neglected posting all these fun belly pictures, but I am going to get better at that! The belly has definitely started to show! I love it! I am 15 weeks now and feeling great! I haven't started wearing maternity clothes yet, but I am not far from it :)! We went to the doctor Monday and everything is going really well! This was actually the first time Jon and I ever got to hear the heartbeat! As soon as we heard that precious heart beating Jon and I were in awe...that was the sweetest sound ever and neither one of us could stop smiling :)!! The baby's heartbeat was 150 beats per minute, and Dr. Lopez said it is growing right on track! We are so thankful for such a great report!
Two weeks from today we will have the sonogram to determine if we are having a baby girl or boy. We are finding out a little differently than most people, but I have been convinced that it will be "so much fun." Our appointment is at 8:30 am on Wednesday June 25Th, and Jon will walk out of there knowing what we are having and I will not. I leave the next day for Cabo with several girlfriends for Michelle's wedding and Jon is going to have the nursery painted while I am gone (I am trying to convince him to let Dr. Lopez write what it is in an sealed envelope and he can look at it when I get on the plane). Monday, when I return from the trip I will get to see the nursery and finally find out what I have been carrying around! We have already agreed on how the nursery will be painted and colors, so atleast that won't be a shock! I can't believe I am going to leave the country with my baby and Jon know what it is without me. He is so VERY excited about surprising me when I get home, so I just HAD to let him do this!! I think it will keep him busy and keep him from worrying about me being so far away pregnant. I think I win the wife of the year award for this!
I can't wait to post pictures pictures of the nursery! I really have no idea if it will be pink or blue? I love this excitment!!

Fun Times with Fun Girls!

Last week was 3 fun girls nights out! I don't know how I stayed out so late all those nights, but I did and it was alot of fun!
Thursday night a group of girls went to see the Augustana concert at the House of Blues and it was such a blast! I really only knew 2 of their songs, Boston and Sweet and Low but it was so much fun! On the way home we stopped for Whataburger breakfast and I think it was seriously the best thing i have ever had before! ha!.
Saturday night was Michelle's bachelorette party! We all met over at Kim's apartment for the lingerie party and then headed out for a fun night out on the town! I really wore my pregnant self out this night! I can't believe her wedding is going to be here in 2 weeks...Cabo here we come!!
Sunday night I FINALLY saw Sex and the City! Thanks to Jen for cooking a delicious dinner before the movie! I've never really watched the show much, but the movie was AMAZING and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD!

On the Road Again...

I think we were out of town just about every weekend in May! We have had such a blast getting away together so much, but I am definitely ready for life to slow down a bit!

Last Thursday we headed down to College Station for the weekend to watch DBU Baseball play in the NCAA Regional Tournament. They played a few tough games this weekend one on Friday against University of Houston and Saturday against Chicago University. Unfortunately they did lose both games, but they played really well! We were able to see Corey and Andy in Houston on Saturday night for her birthday so that was definitely a special treat! We had a great weekend in college station and brought Court the most adorable Aggie's outfit home (his mommy is A&M Alumni)...don't worry I will post pictures of him in it soon!

Two weeks ago we headed down to San Antonio and spent the weekend with all of Jon's family for his cousin Christian's wedding! Most of his cousins were there and you will see in the picture there are a TON of them and all their kids too! That definitely made for a fun wedding reception! We were able to tell all of his family that we are pregnant and expecting a precious baby this December, they are all so excited for us! A special thanks to Debbie (Jon's mom) for not telling ANYBODY, not even her 4 sisters! I was told that was going to be impossible for her, but we could all tell by their reactions nobody knew...I knew she could do it! We were also surprised by Jon's cousin Piper when she made her announcement too, her and her husband Landry are expecting in February! How exciting! How fun for all these cousins to grow up together! We had a great weekend and enjoyed spending time with all of the family! .
