This made my day.....

i mean, what is better than this?
I am SO spoiled and super thankful for a SIL that loves my babies so much!
I can't stop looking at these, they make me smile, real big! :)

This afternoon Brooke watched the children for me and look what she just happened to come up with while they were there; a sweet little brother and sister photo shoot!

This made me SO happy and I've already placed an order! Thank you Brooke for capturing these sweet moments I never want to forget! If you would like more info on Brooke's photography or to book a session go here! :)

Update on Sarah:

This morning she was a little sick from the chemo, but is feeling much better this evening. They heard back on the bone marrow match; Her sister is not a match at all, and her brother is half of a match. Meaning, they can use her brother if they HAD to, but it's looking like Sarah is an easy match and they are hoping and praying they are able to find the perfect match, a full match. But before that can happen she needs to be in remission. So please pray that the cancer cells disappear and she is in remission soon so she can move forward! Sarah is SO thankful for everybody praying, giving, and loving her through this time!

Thank you, thank you!

This little light of mine!

Great song for this beautiful Friday morning!

Cade has been learning lots of new songs lately, "this little light of mine" (kid version) is one of them and it's precious to listen to him sing!

Sarah, this song is for you today; my prayer for you is that through your story people will see the light in you and see our healing God at work!

Love you cuz! :)

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!

Day 5 of Chemo: looking good, a little nauseated, red blood count is not lowering at the time which is great-that means no need for a blood transfusion (yay!), all together not much change today!

Ok faithful readers, Tomorrow is a BIG day.

We find out if Sarah's brother or sister are a bone marrow match.

The only cure for Sarah's AML Leukemia is a bone marrow transplant.

Please pray tonight that we hear good news tomorrow; that we have the match!

"Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds WE ARE HEALED."

Talk about Tuesday!

Just got home from visiting this lovely lady!

Sarah has been really tired today and every now and then feeling the nausea from the chemo, but all together is doing really great! She is on day 4 of chemo and looking so pretty! The dr. came in this morning and said her platelet levels are dropping like they are supposed to as a result of the chemo. Her room is a happy place, full of family and friends, prayer, pink and zebra everything, and a strong fighter patient!
Check out my baby doll!

and my stud of a son!

they make me SO happy!2 1/2 years and 9 1/2 months old, and loving this busy stage of life!

Tay, you are a priss!

this is random, this is what Cade thinks is the most fun thing to do. Throw his clothes out of his drawer over the stairs, not so funny to me...

making piggies this morning for breakfast!

spent my day with all these precious children!

At the hospital...

I get to hangout with Sarah today for a few hours! :)

The doctor just came in and gave her an update with what is going on. We already knew that she has the AML Leukemia. There are three different stages within the AML. This morning the doctor informed us that the stage Sarah has is the lowest stage, meaning she has a 50% success rate. The chemo that she is getting, (on day 3 of 7 today) will put her in remission, but the cure is for her to have a bone marrow transplant. Her sister and brother are the best chance and they were tested yesterday, the results will be in on Friday. Pray that Jeremy is a match, it would be a miracle, and we believe in miracles! Heather would be a good match too, but not the best since she has had 3 children and shared antibodies/chromosomes with them. If they are not a match she will be put on a list for a bone marrow transplant. Sarah is strong and believing the promise that God will never give her more than she can handle!

Here is how you can help:

First and most imporant we need people to PRAY for Sarah. Pray for complete healing in Sarah's body. It has already happened once and we know it will happen again!

You can donate BLOOD and PLATLETS at Carter Bloodcare. Any location and any blood type will help. All you have to do is go in and give this number 050620 and her name, Sarah Mehringer.

Also, there has been a donation account set up for Sarah at regions bank. Please send checks in the name of Sarah Mehringer to:

Regions Bank

1111 West Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, TX 75247

or there will soon be a link on my sidebar of my blog to pay by paypal.

Also, there is one more thing: words of enouragement, cards, emails, facebook messages are all very much appreciated and she sees them all!

Thank you everybody for praying, giving, and loving Sarah.

This is a journey that we are all in with her.

Our God is greater!

Update on Sarah

I posted two days ago about my cousin Sarah.

Let me back up and give her story...

This is a picture of Sarah when she was little.

When she was 4 years old she was diagnosed with Leukemia and as been is remission for years and years with no problems....look how adorable this little girl is....

and now at 27 years old her Leukemia has come back. About 3 weeks or so ago she went to the Dr. for aches in her legs and hips. The Dr. said it was bursitis. About a week after that appointment on a Wednesday morning her Dr. called and said that her white blood cell and platelets levels were low. She was referred to a liver Dr, a hematologist, an oncologist, and also had a bone marrow biopsy. Finally after weeks of wondering, tons of blood work, questioning what it was the doctor was able to find out through her bone marrow biopsy that she has Leukemia. She has a different type this time, it is called AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia). She has started chemotherapy tonight and that will continue for 7 days. Sarah is strong and faithful. This morning I received a text from her that said "I feel good about everything, no worries."

I was able to go hangout with her yesterday and today, it was so good!

Please continue to pray that her body will respond well to the treatment and that she will continue to feel at peace! Love my cuz!

He is Risen!

" No better word than from your lips

No perfect life than what you lived
No greater gift, no not one

No brighter star has ever shined

No better hope for all mankind

No higher mind, no not one

No one has ever known

This kind of love you've shown

There has never been a greater love

Than YOUR son

No, not one

And there will never be a name above

No, not one

With HIS life You have forgiven us

Hope has come

Hope has come

And there will never be a greater love

No, not one

No image true or sweeter frame

No simple word can match your nameNo greater fame

No not one

No one has ever seen

The depth of your majesty

No greater call-

You gave us all a reason to live

No greater love-

You gave us all a reason to give

No greater life-

You gave us a reason to shine

No greater love

forever mine!"

Thankful today for....

a mighty....
