Sunday was a really, REALLY special day!
There will be nothing in life that will make me a happier mommy than to know my children's salvation is secure and that they choose to follow Jesus! What an honor it was to watch my son be baptized on Mother's Day!
You can read about Cade becoming a Christian here.
Watching Cade and listening to him answer Kenny's questions about Jesus living in his heart and trusting in Him and following Him all of his days was enough to make my heart burst!
Jon couldn't help but lean down and kiss Cade several times during his baptism. Talk about one proud daddy!
We were so happy both sides of our families were able to make it to church to support Cade's baptism!
Thank you Kenny for loving and investing in our family!
Tatum is already talking about when she is going to get baptized. She has no clue, but I love that she wants to do what Cade does....she has a great example for a big brother! :)
The Soto's came to see Cade get baptized! Kim texted me Saturday night to let me know they were coming and I was SO excited that they wanted to be there for us and Cade! Really sweet friends!
Cade loved the daily bible reading that Gigi and Papaw gave Cade. We have read a story each night, thank you mom and dad!
Rewind with me 5 years ago to Cade's baby dedication. This was the cake I ordered for the lunch celebration. Jon and I prayed and prayed that our kids (and still do) will choose to follow Jesus at a young age and they will honor Him with their lives of of their days.
And 5 years later....Cade has chosen to love Jesus and make the decision to become a Christian! We are proud, very proud!
A few more pictures of Cade's baby dedication.
After church we invited everyone over for lunch to celebrate Cade and also Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to our mom!
We love you so much and are so thankful for all that you do for us!
9 of the 12 kids!
Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to church and lunch, we love all of you and we are so thankful for the impact you have on our children's lives! :)
