Made from Minted!

Hello there Tuesday!
I have been SO excited about this post for a few days!
Minted reached out to me about a week ago and asked if I would be interested in ordering Cade and Tatum their classroom Valentine's. I gladly accepted the offer and let the kids pick out their favorite Valentine's! I ordered the Valentine's on Wednesday evening and with regular ground shipping our customized Valentine's arrived at my doorstep on Saturday! That is some service!
Minted is offering (for free), 24 matching stickers ($10 value) with classroom Valentines orders of $20+.  Use the code STICKERS17, offer expires TODAY! Also, order classroom Valentines TODAY for delivery by Friday 2/10.
Ok, here are the Valentines the kids chose!
Cade chose Hooked on You which I thought was really cute and totally Cade!
Speaking of that little boy, I can't wait for my Valentine date with him! This little boy has my heart and becomes more and more like his daddy everyday!
And the sister girl chose Shimmer and Shine which completely reflects the personality of my Tatum!
The girl child radiates shine and smiles, oh what a blessing this little girl is to me! Tatum is really excited about getting to write all of the kids in her classroom name in the
"To:" section.
Minted has such a wide variety of Valentine's for all ages, but those Classroom Valentine's, there is just something so cute about those!
The Classroom Valentine's are 2.5 x 3.5 and come with the cutest little envelopes for your little Valentine's to write their classmates name on.
With unique designs printed on luxe paper, these Valentines are the perfect way for your kids to celebrate with their classmates!
Thank you Minted for the sweet Valentine's for my kiddos, we are so excited to celebrate a day of LOVE!

Have fun shopping for Valentines!

Weekend Wrap

I am pretty sure this weekend flew by, WAY too quickly, as they usually do!

Jon and I enjoyed a little date night Friday! We did what we do best, ate Mexican food and did a little shopping! We had 3 hours to soak up each other and we did just that!
Saturday morning Jon left for work before anyone should really be awake on a Saturday morning. We are so thankful for a daddy that works so hard for us. Cade came crawling in bed with me and requested pancakes, eggs and bacon. And I went straight to the kitchen and whipped that hungry boys breakfast right up. Cade always knows exactly what he wants to eat, that boy is too funny!
I was in my bedroom doing laundry and such and looked out the window to see this boy doing all kinds of tricks on the trampoline. Not only was he jumping he was singing a song about his Pokemon cards that he was making up, and I could hear him from inside. It was all so funny. I sent Jon a video and we all laughed!
Tatum and I played games for a few hours Saturday, this girl is so sweet to ask me to play with her. I just love it so much when the kids want to play with me!
I went for a run in the afternoon, picked up the grocery order (have I mentioned on here how much I love Walmart grocery pick up, if I haven't...I SO SO do), came back home to shower and then the kids and I headed up to the Icehouse on Katy Trail for Kim's birthday!
It was such a pretty day!
Cade and Gage hadn't seen each other is so so long, it was sweet to see them reunite and have so much fun playing together!
And Tatum and Lyla, they are just so sweet!
 Happy Birthday Kimmy!
It was a fun afternoon in Dallas. I hadn't been to the Icehouse before, only passed it on the Marathon course, but I do think we will be back. Such a fun place!
While we were at the party, Jon went flying with a friend and sent me this pic. He was so giddy excited!
We all came back home and vegged out on the couch, like all 4 of us on one couch, it was cozy family time!
And then it was Sunday morning and we are all ready for church!
I asked Tatum for a mommy/daughter pic, and somehow that turned into this. Love my bow loving, leopard lovin, kissy face little Lauren!
 Love my tribe!
For me as a kid it was cinnamon rolls on Sunday morning at home, for my kids it's donuts at church!
Sunday afternoon was spent playing dolls!

And painting nails while the boys ran a few errands, love our girl time!
We ended the weekend with small group. We wrapped up a study we've been in for a while and enjoyed the fellowship with friends! Tatum was excited a few families stayed afterwards so she could stay up way past her bedtime! :) Grayson is the newest addition to our group, and we couldn't love him more!
And somehow it's Monday morning again and we are ready to start another week.
Make it a good Monday!

Friday Favorites

Did this week go by in a blink for anyone else? Just like that and it's already Friday again!  We've had another fun week around here!

We are gearing up for a low key, chill, not much going on kind of weekend, and I could not be more thrilled!

Here are this weeks faves!

I am linking up with ErikaAndrea and Narci for Friday Favorites!
Tatum had 6 friends over for "Tea with Tay" on Monday! You can read all about that here!
Tuesday we enjoyed Chickfila's family night, the kids loved getting their face painted!
Tatum got her baby loving on Tuesday!
This sight will never get old and I will try my darnedest to get pics of this sweetness as much as possible!
And then in the very next breath....she annoys her brother like none other! But, since Cade is...well, just Cade, more than not he just takes Tatum and all of HER like a champ!
Yesterday morning I snapped this pic before heading out for a lovely day at the spa! This sweatshirt dress was perfect for the day! I should probably not call this a sweatshirt dress on my tall self, it was more like a tunic, but on a normal size person it could be super cute with tall boots, bare legged with tennies, you know....without having to wear full on pants.
I spa'd and lunched with Ashley and Tanna. It was an all around fabulous day! I am so thankful for sweet frienships!
And I will leave you with Tay and I giving the babies a bath. We just adore these little boys so so much! We had our usual Tuesday night dinner at my parents house on Thursday this week. Spa day all day and then dinner cooked by my mom, it was an all around wonderful day! :) If only everyday was so glamorous, right! :)
One thing that I want to hear from you, you can leave a comment or email me at mel.cade@yahoo.com.
How do you feel most encouraged?
(ex.a note, mail, words, a nice text, compliments, acts of service, etc) I have a post coming up about this and I want your input!

Make it a good Friday! :)

Thursdays Thoughts

The truth is I wish I could have frozen time at many ages. Just the other day Jon and I were watching a video of the day Tatum decided to start walking (at the age of 15 months, 3 weeks and 3 days old-because everyone remembers all that right). I might have held her as much as possible to keep her from growing up and doing big girl things like walking. And as tough at potty-training Cade was, we would never have the memory of having a poopoo party at McDonalds if that never happened. So just a look back at all these ages that I wish I could have frozen time!

When we just had one little fella!

When Tatum was just a tiny newborn and Cade was 20 months old

When the kids were just little toddlers toddling around

When they were 2 and 3

And again when they were 3 and 4

Ok and maybe 5 and 6

And right now, today, when they are 6 and 8!
